Repeat Prescriptions

Nice_blue_pillsRequests for repeat prescriptions are acceptable by:

  • Post
  • Fax
  • In person
  • Phone between 11.00 - 3.00 daily
  • EMIS Access
  • Email: st.chads@nhs.net

If you wish to request a prescription you can ring the surgery between 11.00am and 3.00pm Monday to Friday alternatively you can request your repeat prescription by fax or by calling into the surgery or by post enclosing a SAE. Please note that results can only be discussed with the patient themselves (Unless patient is a child).

Please allow 48 hours from requesting a repeat prescription, to collection. Repeat prescriptions will only be issued 48 hours before they are due.

Medication Reviews are carried out annually by the doctor.

St Chads Medical Practice has an on-site pharmacy within the building where patients can have their prescription dispensed if it is more convenient.  They operate the Pharmacy First Scheme, where patients can attend with minor ailments before ringing the doctor.
